Świeradów Zdrój is a popular mountain resort and spa located near the border with the Czech Republic and Germany. The resort is located 450-710 m above sea level in the Jizera Mountains, in the Kwisa River valley, separating Wysoki Grzbiet in the south from Kamienicki Grzbiet in the north. After including Czerniawa-Zdrój in its perimeter Świeradów Zdrój also embraces the Czarny Potok valley and extends slightly into the Jizera Foothills.
In the immediate vicinity there are cross-country ski trails (such as Jakuszyce – Orle) as well as bicycle and hiking trails stretching among the charming and memorable mountain ranges of the Western Sudetes.
